Launched in 2005, the Oceana is developed by Seven Tides Properties who have also developed the Anantara Hotel on Palm Jumeirah. The design of the project closely mirrors the Tiara development on the opposite side of the trunk of the Palm, i.e. both consist of 7 buildings and are triangular shaped.
