Launched in 2006 by ETA Star, the project was originally set to feature nearly 300 homes built around a golf-course.
The original master-plan had called for a 170 room JW Marriott, a 152 room Courtyard Marriott, a Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy and a hundred thousand sq. ft. mall, Tony Ashai was appointed to design the community and the homes to be built in it.
The project was put on-hold in late 2008 before being revived in early 2013. In July 2013, Pacific Ventures, a Dubai based developer announced that it had purchased a 50% stake in the project and would be jointly developing the community with ETA Star.
