Like Al Reem in Arabian Ranches, Alma are also townhouses but only have the 3 bedroom option - there are a total of six floor plans available. Alma’s superiority over Al Reem lies mainly in its location – it is walking distance to the main school, retail area, mosque and the Golf Club. The project was one of the last Ranches communities to be announced before the end-2008 crash and hence the original prices for Alma were relatively higher. Probably because of the higher original prices, Alma units have a better standard of finish and the communal facilities are also more superior to Al Reem. Phase One of Alma is ready and has a total of 212 units.
In 2012, Emaar launched 62 new units as Alma Phase 2 which were all sold out on the day of launch. Both Almas’ border each other and therefore the current construction taking place has led to minor disruptions and quite a lot of noise during the day. These units have now been delivered.
