Launched in April 2013, Mudon is a project by Dubai Properties – located on the intersection of Al Qudra Road and Dubai Properties.
Mudon was actually proposed for development back in 2006 and its initial master-plan was designed to have 3,200 villas/townhouses and 8,500 apartment units. There were to be five zones built to resemble Arab cities Baghdad, Beirut, Damascus, Cairo and Marrakech.
However, those plans were shelved after the real estate crash and instead, the developer launched Phase 1 of Mudon in 2013, selling 362 four bedroom townhouses on a payment plan and promising delivery within one year.
Based on the success of the first phase which is totally sold out, Dubai Properties announced the launch of Mudon Phase 2 (Naseem) during Cityscape 2013. Naseem will comprise of some 4 bedroom townhouses and 3, 4 and 5 bedroom independent villas.
The handovers of the townhouses in Phase 1 commenced in December 2014.
A closer look
- There are a total of 362 townhouses in Blocks A1 through A8.
- A second phase of townhouses comprising 129 units in Blocks F1 and F2 are close to completion (as of October 2016) and handovers for these is expected in Q4 2016.These 129 units are part of the Naseem phase.
- There are two types of townhouses (Type A and B) with only marginal differences between the two. Built up areas of these units ranges from 3,786 - 3,808 sq. ft.
