General Guide

IMPZ (International Media & Production Zone) is a business park located on Mohammad Bin Zayed Road adjascent to Dubai Investment Park and Dubai Sports City. IMPZ is a project of Tecom Investments which has also developed Dubai's other major business parks such as Internet & Media City, Studio City, Knowledge Vilalge etc.

IMPZ is a free-zone where companies have the privilege of 100% ownership, tax free income and range of custom duty exemptions. Rules governing media production have been simplified to facilitate ease of operation for companies. Types of companies that are encouraged to operate here are publishing, printing, packaging and graphic design firms.

IMPZ is an area of Dubai which will see a lot of construction/development activity in the coming years. There is so far limited office space that has been built in this business park - and that should change dramatically in the coming years.

In terms of residential real estate there are a number of projects that are completed and a few which are in advanced stages of construction. You can view the projects located in IMPZ in the Sub-communities tab of this section.

In March 2014, MAF Group (the developer & manager of Mall of Emirates and Deira City Center), announced that it had reached agreement with TECOM Investments to develop a 1 million sq. ft. mall facility to be completed by 2015.
