Dubai Holding achieved new milestones in philanthropic giving and social contribution during Ramadan. To celebrate the spirit of generosity and togetherness in the Holy Month, the Group organised a number of initiatives which benefitted over 125,000 people from various communities across Dubai.
Amit Kaushal, CEO of Dubai Holding, said: “As an organisation, we have always endeavoured to enrich the lives of people, through our role as a growth catalyst for a number of industries vital to the Emirate’s economy. We strongly believe in social cohesion, both in our workplace and in our communities. Reflecting on the Year of Zayed and to commemorate the auspicious month of Ramadan, we wanted to strengthen our commitment to the values of giving and sharing.”
He added: “Our Ramadan Drive has been Dubai Holding’s largest ever social campaign to date, a hugely positive collective effort of companies across the Group to make a big impact on our wider community. Our collaboration with Ministry of Community Development, Emirates Red Crescent, Dubai Police, Unilever and Better Life, contributes to our ambition to support the Government’s efforts to boost the happiness and welfare of UAE’s citizens and residents. I would like to especially thank them for their support, and all the volunteers who participated with enthusiasm and helped make our initiatives a great success.”
